Solo Exhibition in Southern Oregon: “A Good Distance”

The Umpqua Valley Arts Association will feature the work of Laurie Danial in her solo exhibition titled A Good Distance. Laura Danial has been an active painter and printmaker for the last 20 years. Her studio practice is informed by themes of the personal while engaging the political events of contemporary culture. “I am committed to a parlance of abstraction and gesture with allowance for accidents, urges and surprise. I have come to willingly entertain a level of anxiety and exhilaration that comes from not knowing.”
